Low Luv

Yay! I love packages and today one arrived. My gorgeous cuff and ring by Low Luv. I normally buy silver jewellery but i wanted something different this time around. I was worried about the ring but it fits perfectly.

Michael Flores

I wanted to share these amazing and inspiring photographs by Michael Flores who says he is most inspired by his immediate surroundings, in particular Los Angeles and the West Coast. Michael comes from a theater background, which i feel is evident in his photographs as he takes on an almost theatrical style. Check out more of his work here.

Chuck Taylor: Lovikka

How cute are these Chuck T all-star 'Lovikka' sneakers? The style, designed by Sneakersnstuff (SNS) in conjunction with Converse, pays homage to the hardship and triumph endured by the  indigenous Sami people of Sweden. The design takes on the traditional craft style and features the signature colours of red, yellow and blue. So lush and available at SNS locations and online.

Yesterday

 

I love Sunday mornings, particularly during Autumn and Winter when the sun is out but it's still crisp and warm enough to sit out on the deck and munch on yummy breakfast foods. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, but normally I'm on the go so a cup of coffee during the week constitutes breakfast most days - bad i know. So weekend breakfast get-togethers are pretty special and i love nothing more  then making yummy goodies. It's even better when i have a favourite mag to flick through, in this instance the new issue of Russh.. Favourite brekkie at the moment is homemade French toast with ricotta cheese and lashings of maple syrup - so good. Blueberry pancakes come a close second.

My favourite hairspray

I thought I'd share one of my favourite hair products of all time. Hello Cedel Hairspray:-) Admittedly i love this for two main reasons...the first being nostalgia (yes i remember growiing up to the fragrant scent as a child - my gorgeous mum was and still is an avid fan) and secondly this is just a fab product. It's endured the test of time and has pretty much stayed true to it's original formula and packaging. Love this product.

Bodkin

I had to put these up mostly so i had a record for myself, but don't you think this collection by Bodkin is fabulous? Love the palette so much and the silhouettes are floaty and feminine. Can't wait to see the Autumn/Winter collection, which should come out soon.

Review: Rimmel London I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish

So i was at the supermarket today and noticed the Rimmel London range of products in the beauty isle. Now I'm not one to buy cosmetics at the supermarket, but seeing as I've misplaced my OPI white polish (which i adore) i thought i'd buy a cheap alternative - enter Rimmel Lasting Finish. Now seeing as I was trying to find a replacement, I decided to purchase the white shade called 'London Cloud'. Let me just say that this is an awful polish -save your pennies and buy a quality product. The brush is awful and left steaks on every application. It's fair to say that i probably won't be wearing this polish ever again...it doesn't even compare to OPI. The white colour was tacky and left me feeling like i had liquid paper on my nails. On the plus side it was inexpensive so i don't regret the purchase. I guess you win some and lose some. Now if only the nail polish leprechauns would trade in my beloved OPI for this one:-)

Christopher Kane: Laser-cut leather clutch

Ooh...I love these Laser-cut leather clutches by Christopher Kane. Available in neon yellow, neon  pink, neon orange and neon green. Anyone that knows me will know I am hugely lusting over the neon yellow one - it goes  straight to the top of my wish list.

Loved this so much i wanted to share it.  Nadia Serlidou features on the cover and in the editorial for Harper's Bazaar Turkey (June). The crimson influence is just deliciously intoxicating as too are the gorgeous jewels. To drool some more head over to fashiongonerogue.

Everythings just Rosie

Seriously, this girl is just stunning. I've been following Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's style lately and think it's hot but wow, she just looks amazing on the cover of Elle Uk July 2011. The cover and editorial was lensed by Terry Tsiolis and Rosie dons a fabulous selection of designs by The Row, Hakaan, Yves Saint Laurent and Nina Ricci. I can't wait for the editorial and will keep my eyes peeled.

I recently picked up a couple of cheap basics from Myer. I think I'll always have a soft spot for stripes and this particular tee had cute button details on the shoulders plus it was on sale - win. I also picked up this grey chunky knit scarf - it  seemed to sit just right and was/is the perfect shade of grey. A girl can never have too many scarves, right?

Makeup: Nina Ricci S/S collection 11

Loving this look at the Nina Ricci S/S collection 11. Really scrumptious eyeshadow. Don't think I'd be able to pull this off very well though, well at least not the light eyebrow bit (i'm a brunette). Still, the shadow is really pretty.
