Really can't wait for the Sportsgirls Like Miss Unkon collaboration to hit stores this coming November. This little sneak peak is a complete tease. I think it's the whimsical fabrics and cuts that suck me straight in. Anyway, if you're a fan pencil in the 14th of November when Sportsgirls Like Miss Unkon arrives in selected stores and online. I think you'll need to be quick to bag yourself a goodie or few.
So who's getting dressed up for Halloween? Although we don't really celebrate Halloween in Australia there's still lots going on party wise. I saw this lookbook from Planet Blue and fell in love with the makeup. I'd definitely give it a go if I was getting dressed up. If you're keen to try it out you can find the tutorial here.
Not sure if you've all seen this already but it's a first for me since returning from my holiday. Just wanted to share it with those of you who haven't seen it thus far. I love, love, love the dress with the threading on the sides and that silver band belt is gorgeous. I'm so excited about the warmer weather...it's a great excuse to wear more lights and neutrals which seems to suit me very well.
Sawadee ka:) We're finally back from my much needed Thailand holiday. Such an amazing and mesmerising country. If you need to run away to a tropical oasis I strongly recommend Thailand. Thai people are so warm and friendly and their haphazard ways are likened to ordered chaos, well in my eyes anyway. It comes to no surprise they call Thailand the land of the smiles. Despite the fact that it was monsoon season we managed to have beautiful weather the whole time we were there. Lucky for us but not so lucky for large parts of Thailand that were affected by horrendous floods. If you can donate some money to the Thai flood Appeal please do so (please check for your local charities). Anyway I won't bore you with holiday talk but what I will do is thank you for your lovely comments and messages prior our departure. They really made me smile. I'll be back to speed with my blog in no time but for now here are just a few holiday snaps.
Yay the day has finally arrived! Today my boy and I are going for our long overdue holiday. Our bags are packed and we're ready to go. I'll try and post when I get the chance but the idea is to use the net as little as possible. Bon Voyage!
Check these pretties out. They first made their debut at Chanel's S/S 2012 Ready to Wear show during Paris Fashion Week. They're designed to be worn in rotation over a three month period. The first is April( red), followed by May (pale pink) and of course June (pale orange). Such pretty and playful colours and I can't wait to get my hands on them.
I think Kate looks exquisite in these photos - so fresh, radiant and in love. The pics were lensed by Sonia Sieff for Elle France. Styling by Marine Braunschvig. Hair by Odile Gilbert, make-up by Tom Pecheux and Christelle Cocquet.
Tonight on the menu - spicy prawn skewers. I have to say these are incredibly yummy and easy to prepare especially after a long day at work. You can find the recipe here. A nice light salad compliments these skewers perfectly.
Do you think Kanye delivered? Judging by the pics above he did a pretty good job with his debut collection although to be honest I was expecting to see something a little more innovative. I just felt that a lot of the looks reflected styles that I'd seen before and would probably appeal more to followers of Kanye's mantra, which to be honest again, I'm not. Key looks included body-con dresses with cut-outs, embellished bomber jackets and slim-cut trousers. There was lots of black, cream and grey on the runway with splashes of teal blue. Key trends included fur, snakeskin, leather and metalics as well as the popular sporty chic aestehitic.
