Inspiration // New Black

I often think that sometimes the simplest of looks work best. I'm particularly keen on this little ensemble - the shoes, jacket, pants and sweater are perfection. Would you believe I don't actually own a leather jacket of my own. I guess living in a country where the climate is often mild to warm has something to do with it. Most of the time and when it's cold, a jumper is suffice. While I've been searching high and low for one I still haven't found something really special - and I guess it has to be special because the price is often a little steep and one I consider an investment. The jacket above looks perfect though. I'm hoping I find 'the one' when I'm in Japan next month...but I'm a little concerned I might be 'big in Japan'  - literally, as I'm quite tall and the proportions might not work for me. I guess i'll have to wait and see.
